The children of today are not allowed to feel proud of the USA. They are bombarded from every direction with the message that there are so many things wrong with their country.
It is totally up to the parents to pass down the legacy of proud accomplishments--sometimes it feels as if we are back to using ancient oral traditions around the fire to keep knowledge of the truth alive.
