The Top Ten List the Libs Don't Want Read

Scott Atlas, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute AND a professor of radiology AND chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical School (don't you hate the underachievers?) has written a report that is making the rounds on the 'net. It cautions us that before we run out and turn our lives and health over to the government, we should consider these ten major points:

1. Americans have better survival rates than Europeans for common cancers.

2. Americans have lower cancer mortality rates than Canadians.

3. Americans have better access to treatment for chronic diseases than patients in other developed countries.

4. Americans have better access to preventive cancer screening than Canadians.

5. Lower-income Americans are in better health than comparable Canadians.
6. Americans spend less time waiting for care than patients in Canada and the United Kingdom.

7. People in countries with more government control of health care are highly dissatisfied and believe reform is needed.

8. Americans are more satisfied with the care they receive than Canadians.

9. Americans have better access to important new technologies such as medical imaging than do patients in Canada or Britain.

10. Americans are responsible for the vast majority of all health care innovations.
Here's a link to the entire piece, and it is worth the read.

I know the Democrat party and their hacks that comment here every now and then believe that the American people are a bunch of yokels that need to be lead by enlightened ones like, well themselves, but the American people are catching on. Rasmussen reports that confidence in the EXISTING health care system is growing despite the drumbeat from the Obamanoids and their slavish press lackeys. Fourty-eight percent (48%) now rate it as "excellent or good." I, for one, (well there are a lot of us!) am appalled at the intellectual dishonesty that leads the Obamabots to conclude that health care "reform" has to happen NOW!!!! This is our last chance!!! Look, if it is so damned important, let's do it a piece at a time. Let's have experiments in different parts of the country to see what works. We've already tried what they are proposing in Tennessee, Massachusetts and Hawaii - failed in two, failing in the third. So what's the rush?

We know what the rush is - it is the rush to power that if they can get there, they will have created a dependent class that relies on the largesse and good graces of their overlords in Washington. It's a disgusting swipe at the very core of what makes America great.

The good news is, the folks have figured it out and they are mad!

Iowahawk has a great piece this morning that plays off of this viral video. It is the perception from Washington of the people. Lighten up and read that too along with the Hoover Report.
