“We should never despair, our Situation before has been unpromising and has changed for the better, so I trust, it will again. If new difficulties arise, we must only put forth new Exertions and proportion our Efforts to the exigency of the times.” —George Washington

The Movement Grows
Here's an impressive image of what is going on in Ummaricuh and why all is not lost:
In the tradition of Sam Adams, Americans are rising up to protest taxation without representation. Onward patriots!

hilarious. do you actually believe this nonsense, or are you a glen beck clone just spouting whatever dreck you think will get you page views? calling a bunch of slack-jawed yokels 'patriots' for basically being unaware of their own self-interest is hardly rational...
your crazy-right W-based leadership spent and deregulated us into a nearly insurmountable disaster-hole, and now asking the uber-rich to go from 36% back to 39% taxes is what, the end of the world? you are planning to fix america's woes with what? prayer? magic? or... maybe it is only socialism when blue state guys spend money. clearly.
this is just nonsense. go throw tea into the water. then go home and try learning something that isn't from fox news. and shoot up some liberals before they take your guns and your bible.
and how'd that turn out for the tories? this whole tea party thing is just smoke, blown up the posterior of the dumbest americans. again.. the difference between 36% and 39% is.... the end of the world? you offer no solutions, just rehash the latest idiocy from fauxnews. bet your mama is so proud of you....
When their cause was defeated, about 20% of the Loyalists left the U.S. to resettle in other parts of the British Empire, in Britain or elsewhere in British North America (especially New Brunswick), where they were called United Empire Loyalists; some went to the British West Indies, especially the Bahamas). Black Loyalists made up some of the Loyalist community.
Thanks, Momma is proud!
As for solutions, you need to read much more of this blog and Red State Rumblings, the essay companion...eliminate capital gains tax for two years would be a nice start.

Well, according to Wikipedia:
When their cause was defeated, about 20% of the Loyalists left the U.S. to resettle in other parts of the British Empire, in Britain or elsewhere in British North America (especially New Brunswick), where they were called United Empire Loyalists; some went to the British West Indies, especially the Bahamas).
