Creepy Department of Education Directive

From the Department of Education, in preparation for the President's speech and via whitehouse.gov, here are some "ideas" for teachers to "engage" students in the 7-12 Grade bracket:

Guided Discussion:

What resonated with you from President Obama’s speech? What lines or phrases do you remember?

Whom is President Obama addressing? How do you know? Describe his audience.

We heard President Obama mention the importance of personal responsibility. In your

life, who exemplifies this kind of responsibility? How? Give examples.

How are the individuals in this classroom similar? How is each student different?

Suppose President Obama were to give another speech about being educationally

successful. To whom would he speak? Why? What would the president say?

What are the three most important words in the speech? Rank them.

Is President Obama inspiring you to do anything? Is he challenging you to do anything?

What do you believe are the challenges of your generation?

How can you be a part of addressing these challenges

Aww, c'mon teachers! We can do better than that to engage these young skulls! Herewith, Rumbler's suggested teaching guide:

  • Shouldn't President Obama be ruler of the entire world?
  • How can you help him become the leader of all nations?
  • After watching this speech, do you now realize how silly it is to worship another God?
  • How can you help your generation teach the older generation that they should just die and get out of the way so President Obama can become ruler of the entire world?
  • Have your entire class practice the "Obama way" of speaking - have them look to the right and speak for three seconds, then look to the left and speak for three seconds...isn't this fun?
  • Divide your class into three parts. Have the first part yell "O," the second yell "ba" and the third part yell "ma!" Repeat mindlessly for an hour or so with each third trying to out yell the others.
  • Have your students identify three "enemies of O." Put all the names on the blackboard along with their "crimes against O." Single out the top three and march on their houses - repeat the last exercise in their front yard.
  • Have the students identify all the things you have achieved because Obama is the President. To encourage the discussion remind them that they have food and are breathing...both thanks to the mercy of Obama the Generous.
  • Discuss how important it is to think just like Obama and believe only in what he tells you. A role play exercise is fun for this too - have one student pretend to be an a**hole Republican - dress him up in a orange prisoner jump suit. Give all the other students sticks and have them try to "catch and cane" the Republican! (Double credit for PE).
Here's the menu from the Department of Education (via whitehouse.gov) for the Pre-K through 6th grade after the speech activities:

After the Speech

Teachers could ask students to share the ideas they recorded, exchange sticky notes, or place notes on a butcher‐paper poster in the classroom to discuss main ideas from the speech, such as citizenship, personal responsibility, and civic duty. Students could discuss their responses to the following questions:

What do you think the president wants us to do?

Does the speech make you want to do anything?

Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?

What would you like to tell the president?

LAME! Herewith better activities for the little kiddies - c'mon, brainwashing is fun!

After the Speech
  • Have the students check off from a list you provide, the places where their parents get the "news." (Teachers, make a list with cute check box on the left side. Include names such as "Rush Limbaugh," "Fox News," "Glenn Beck," "Sean Hannity." Students whose parents don't watch any such shows can be brought to the front of the class for free ice cream. Compile the lists of those that do watch such subversion and forward it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
  • Ask your students who they would be willing to kill to help Obama achieve his goals.
  • Discuss why they have not already killed those people. (Teachers, reassure them that since they are minors, the consequences of murder are pretty light. Offer counseling with school political officer for those unwilling or "scared" to do it.)
It's time we got behind our great leader!

When ever and where ever there are public schools, there is indoctrination. The fortunate thing for humanity is that kids eventually grow up. They put away the childish things their teachers told them. They no longer desire the taste of Kool-aid. Those who don't grow up, become teachers in the public school system.

We need to herd all the teachers into one building and just nuke them and put an end to this vicious cycle.
