It's WAR!

He is declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and private-equity and venture-capital funds.

Larry Kudlow has it exactly right. Read the rest of the article here.

I've been having this discussion with Rumbler's inner circle. It goes something like this:
Rumlepal: "Is Obama stupid? No one has ever climbed out of an economic death spiral by raising taxes!"
Rumbler: "The alternative is that he is an idealogue..."
Rumblepal: "But surely, he can't really believe that the government runs things better..."
Rumbler: "It's not about the efficiency of running it, it's about the control."
Rumblepal: "Naaw, I mean he's not really going to go through with this..."
Rumbler: "Dow's off almost 3000 since the Magic O took the lead over McCain in September -it still hasn't figured out where the floor is that icorporates the risk of an Obama presidency."
Rumblepal: "Is this window up here operable?"
Rumbler: "Step away from the ledge!!"

Is it worth pointing out that the aforementioned conversation is completely foolish? "But surely, he can't really believe that the government runs things better..."

Beter than what? Compared to the completely unregulated fools who led us over the cliff, a smart guy who actually gives a $hit seems like exactly the sort of solution we need.

And of course, claiming that O is responsible for the DOW is... can i say "retarded"? The gigantic (and completely foreseeable) collapse of the investment banking and loan underwriting industries has been brewing since the middle of the Clinton era. W managed to blindly miss (well, everything) in his tenure as clown-in-chief. O has been in office all of what, like 31 days? Clearly all his fault...

I find your complete unwillingness to even consider alternatives to the failed conservative agenda rather chilling. Have you given even a second's thought to the posssibility that restructuring and reinvestment by the government will actually fix some of america's problems? Or are you a Rush-clone; simply delighted to pray for O to fail, even if it would be bad for america, just so the GOP can someday hope to play on the national stage again?

Final note: How have all of the small businesses you harp about been doing at creating job lately? And of course, raising taxes on the super rich and businesses might just help offset these sorts of behaviors... which seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

The inane chatter of talking heads who don't care about solutions, in favor of playing spoiler so that at least both parties will be seen as failures, is both unpatriotic and honestly disheartening to those of us who don't care how problems are solved as long as someone is actually trying...

Try presenting a REAL SOLUTION. Beating a strawman and complaining that the one guy america is looking to is actually TRYING, is just lazy and unintelligent.

2. Respond without regurgitating liberal talking points.

Anonymous has given us failure on both counts.

Well done!
