Religion of Peace

URGENT: A group of fanatical Christians stormed ashore in Bahrain today killing over 100 people. They specifically sought out Muslims from Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Screaming "Christ is the only Way!" they set off bombs and blew themselves apart in bomb-laden taxis...

No that doesn't work...let's try again.

URGENT: A party of faith-enraged Buddhists swept through the downtown area of Islamabad today shooting randomly at late-afternoon commuters. They then set off explosives and captured numerous hostages at the posh Intercontinental Hotel. They singled out Muslims and Hindus screaming "Buddha is the man..."

No that doesn't work...let's try again.

You get the point. The entire world of faith had better wake up to the fact that Muslim extremists offer two choices: convert or die. And on option two, they are perfectly happy to accommodate. It is a sad day in India today. Rumbler has spent time in this beautiful country when Rumbler's parents lived in New Delhi. They are a wonderful people and we weep with them today as they bury their (and our) dead.

This is what the "religion of peace" did to the Mumbai train station:

This is what they did to the Taj Mahal Hotel where Rumbler's parents used to stay:

There can be no peace until Muslims worldwide condemn these acts of hatred and begin the long, hard work to change their religion from within. We of other faiths can help this process along if we would drop the pretext that they are really a peaceful religion and it's just a few bad apples...blah, blah, blah. Let's call it for what it is, a bloodthirsty cult that is destroying the very fabric of civilization in the hope of achieving a worldwide caliphate. The Koran is specific in what Muslims must do...let's stop kidding ourselves. Until Muslims renounce the violent teachings of their own book, we cannot live alongside them. They need to be isolated and eliminated if they will not change. When will the world say "enough?"

Obama and McCain - Dance Off!

LOL!

Tolerance, Liberal Style

It is astounding to me how the side that claims the moral high ground of "tolerance" and "understanding" and "equality" demands mind-frozen obedience to their teachings. Failure to do so exposes you to tactics like this: a blacklist of people who contributed to a political cause they felt strongly about. Or of course, there's the more traditional approach, like this:

No Yoga for Muslims

So the plan is to be as physically inflexible as they are mentally inflexible. Ommm.

P.C. Run Amok

Can we end this stupidity? If it's a "Christmas Boat Parade," it's a "Christmas Boat Parade!" If it's a "Hanukkah Boat Parade" or a "Ramadan Boat Parade," I am cool with that too. If it's the "LGBT Boat Parade," that's fine too - I am forewarned that I will probably not bring my kids. Likewise, if you are so damned offended by "Christmas Boat Parade," DON'T GO!

Science marches on!

From an e-mail I got this morning:

An archeological team, digging in Washington DC , has uncovered 10,000 year old bones and fossil remains of what is believed to be the first Politician.

Woodward on Obama on Clinton

Huh...couldn't have said it better myself. The venerable DC Digger himself, Bob Woodward, on the choice of HilBill for Secretary of the Unites States...err, Secretary of State:

Being president is about control, and tell me who ever controlled Bill or Hillary Clinton. They can't control each other. ... I think it's because Warren Buffett and Paul Volcker and others have convinced Obama, 'You're going to have to focus like a laser on the economy. That's issue Number One. And give Hillary and Bill the world.' ... I think people are fantasizing or smoking something if they think Joe Biden's going to call Hillary Clinton up and say, 'This is what we want you to do.'

Merry Christmas...not.

Dan Henninger has an excellent article in yesterday's Wall Street Journal connecting the dots between multi-culturalism and the loss of values. Well worth the read.

Nationalizing Pensions

Hugo Chavez's good buddy Cristina Kirchner, la Presidenta de la Republica del Argentina, had pulled it off! Best thing to do in a financial crisis with everyone's pension funds going down? Have the government take the funds and run them...certainly they can do better than individuals.

Onlooker: They wouldn't do that!
Rumbler: Oh yes they will!

They have. Read about it here.

Well, the good news is it couldn't happen here...

Onlooker: Umm, it couldn't happen here...could it?
Rumbler: Oh yes it can!

They will try. Read about it here.

Why Land for Peace will not work

Sadly, the land for peace formula proposed by the Saudis appears to be the policy that Barry O wants to undertake - that'll bring about some change!

Auto Cos to the Troph

Some hearings were held on Capitol Hill today...a bunch of the Detroit auto execs showed up to beg for money from the taxpayers...errr, the Congress. Here's a picture of the event:

The Shrinking Possibility of Hope

The caption under this picture in the Wall Street Journal this morning was priceless: "Obama gets taken for a ride by the UAW." Holman Jenkin's column "Obama Hears a Giant Sucking Sound," is a refreshing perspective. As terrified as those of us on the right are about a tsunami of liberalism headed our way, the reality is that his hands are probably tied. "Mr. Obama must be looking around and beginning to suspect he will be pouring his political capital, along with considerable taxpayer capital, down bottomless holes for the next four years. He won't be building a legacy as the new FDR, but cleaning up after the last one." I love how Holman finishes the piece:

That Mr. Obama had been sent by history to assuage the insecurities of the middle class with a "New" New Deal was always a tad detached from reality anyway. The reason is those giant legacies of existing New Dealism known as Social Security and Medicare, about which he was careful to say nothing intelligible during the campaign. These programs worked for a while too, but now their expected revenues are (in present value) about $99.2 trillion short of the expected outlays required to assure present and future workers their promised comfort in retirement.

Then again, Mr. Obama did say something in his campaign about tax rebates for all these payroll taxpayers. He also said something about government matching contributions to incentivize today's low- and middle-income workers to save for their own retirement.

Voilà, personal accounts funded by payroll-tax givebacks -- strangely similar to the solution our current president promoted to help workers escape the impending insolvency of the government retirement programs. Mr. Obama envisioned himself extending FDR's work. He may end up finishing George Bush's.

Look folks - at some point we are going to have to face the $99.2 TRILLION shortfall in Social Security and Medicaid. We can't print our way out of it...I doubt we can grow our way out. The only hope is for an honest, sober assessment of the situation and a realistic plan to scale entitlements back. Otherwise we are doomed to the ash heap. Now would be a good time to do it too...the economy's in the tank, the news every day is bad...one good dose of cod-liver oil reality and let's get on with it!

But I thought they would love us...

I thought one of the arguments in favor of putting Barry O in the White House was that the Arabs and Africans would love us...appreciate our diversity and all that...guess the boys over at Al Qaeda didn't get the memo.

Well, that settles that...

We now conclusively know what we thought we knew all along.

Why We Lost Pennsylvania

There's a growing news story here...a lot of the people that voted for the One are, well, to put it delicately dumb. See post below if you need proof. Here's a "News of the Weird" item - I am sure both these dimwits voted for O.

Victory in Iraq

This is a terrific idea! We won...check out this awesome post over here, declaring Victory in Iraq Day for November 22.

How Obama Got Elected... Interviews With Obama Voters

OMG! Just OMG! We are hosed.

Here are the results of the Zogby poll:

512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

Folks this is very serious. The fate of the Republic depends upon a well informed populace. We got sold a brand...the new Coke! We will pay for it good and hard.

Politics of Division

From Five Feet of Fury up in the chili North:

From our bulging "The Hispanic vote doesn't frickin' matter, you idiots" file

I can't believe the National Review let this get posted:

According to the usual suspects, the benchmark in garnering Hispanic votes for Republicans is Bush's 40 percent showing in 2004. So what would have happened if McCain had matched Bush's performance, instead of the 31 percent he actually got? Based on CNN's exit polls, McCain still would have lost Nevada, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, not to mention, say, California and New Jersey. Conversely, even if Obama had won 90 percent of the Hispanic vote in Texas, instead of 63 percent, he still would have lost the state. With the possible exception of North Carolina, where the results were close but the number of Hispanic voters is too small to register in the exit poll, there doesn't seem to be a single state where the Hispanic vote was critical to the outcome.

Karl Rove & Co., insist that Mexican immigrants are social conservatives and therefore a natural fit with the Republican party. But blacks are social conservatives too, contrary to what this guy says, and they vote Democrat.

What's more: Mexicans have no knowledge of American history, and bring with them a culture of systemic corruption, crime, illiteracy, animal abuse, drunk driving and more. Please get back to me with the names of 10 Mexican Nobel Prize winners. All on top of not speaking English.

Importing even more criminal illiterate future Democrats as a permanent slave underclass is the problem, not the solution.

And she's only 4'11" - but she is spot on. Enough with hyphenated Americans. We conservatives have to hone the message of economic liberty and social responsibility. Done correctly and packaged in the right medium, landslides await.

Very cute video over at the Creative Minority Report. I too am sick and tired of "Happy Non-specific nor offending holiday" - Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah!

The Russian Islamic Problem

Rumblepal Westhawk has a fine review on his blog of a book written by a Russian soldier titled One Soldier's War. The way his blog is set up, you may have to scroll down to get to it, it's titled "A Russian Soldier fights in Chechnya." He finishes it thusly: "There is much, much more in One Soldier’s War. Mr. Babchenko reminds us that there really is a Long War against Islamism, but that America is a very recent arrival to the party."

We really are a recent arrival...it's no party, but if we don't see it through to conclusion, the guests will be back on our shores and make 9/11 look like a day at Coney Island.

Michael Crichton on Environmentalism as a Religion

A brilliant mind no longer whinnying with us.

NOT EVIL JUST WRONG

I can't wait for this movie! About time someone had the courage to stand up to the crazies.

More on the Myths of the Depression

You have got to read this stuff folks - we are in deja vu mode all over again with the economy...and it will only get worse under Obama. At least understand your history so you can look intelligent as it is repeated around you.

When is a Hate Crime not a Hate Crime?

Well, for one, when a minority commits the crime it's not a hate crime. The sad case of Marine Sergeant Piertzak and his wife is a case in point. You don't hear about this in the news. Nor did you hear about the young couple in Knoxville that was raped and murdered by a black gang...not a hate crime, apparently. What you do get is headlines like this one in the Tennessean: "Obama Election Spurs Race Crimes Around the Country." Now I look at this video, where the woman holding a cross is beaten, and then her cross is stomped on by gay activists as a hate crime. But apparently, the same headline writer at the Tennessean (aka Pravda on the Cumberland) characterizes that behavior as "Gay advocates protest marriage ban across nation."

Look folks, it's all wrong, dreadfully wrong. But let's call it evenly on both sides. If a gang of whites beats up a black man or a Latino - that's a hate crime. Ditto if the Crips murder a young white Marine (who happened to be married to a black woman). If gays are storming churches and desecrating sacred services, that's a hate crime. Ditto if someon takes a tire wrench to a cross-dresser. The reality is this - we don't need "hate crime legislation." What we need is sanity on the bench that punishes wrong doing for what it is, not because the victims have a different tone to their skin or don't have the same sexual preferences. Violence to another human being is hatred, unless it is justified in self defense. Period.

Barry's Excellent Selective Service Adventure

What is it about this guy that the mysteries keep popping up? It's so simple to produce a birth certificate, a draft registration certificate, a college transcript...but it just keeps getting stonewalled. This is an excellent piece of investigative journalism that will never see the light of day...UNLIKE the faked docs about W's military service back in 2004.

P.S. Note the cute peace sign with the "O" in his "signature" this dude was warped early.

Open Letter to Barack

Oh, from the Iraqi Insurgency...the bunch that got whipped by the surge that B.O. opposed...well, let's have a read shall we?

“1.) The reason why you won the presidency is not because the Americans suddenly found out that they should not be racist, it is because of the many mistakes that the Bush administration fell under which didn’t leave for the American citizen any room, not even for a second to think about keeping that administration and the least proof for this is the large numbers of votes against them.”
OK, the Left would definitely agree with this statement...after all, Americans ARE evil racists and it will take many years in the camps,er, of training to erase that.

“2.) Your campaign promises were built on change and the time for it has come, and we say with that the time has come- the destruction that the previous administration caused for our country from killings, displacement, civil war and racism- has damaged your reputation as American people and it damaged elements of a nation that did not attack you by your own recognition and
therefore we ask for change and do not listen to those who tell you that a withdrawal from Iraq is a defeat. We say to you that a withdrawal will mean a triumph of reason and logic.”
OK, they agree with Barry about change, they agree with Barry that American troops caused "killings, civil war racism etc." They agree with Barry that we are basically very bad because we invaded poor old innocent Iraq and that a hasty withdrawal will restore us to the lofty heights the Arab world has always held us in. Oh wait, they never have...oh, never mind. And of course, they agree that "reason and logic" would prevail - hit Barry O where he likes to be flattered!

“3.) The vast number of people who have voted for you means that you can take your actions with courage. The disarray of those before you hurt the American people before anyone else, Allah(SWT) has told us in his righteous book that he created man to get to know each other not for one to kill the other: ‘O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous
of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).’”

Barry probably knows these verses from his time in Indonesia, but let's see...man is not supposed to kill one another, we're supposed to all get along (does this apply to the Jews?) and Barry...party on dude, you got a mandate! Certified by Islamic Jihad!

“4.) We are a country known for its courage and generosity and our good treatment to strangers. Whoever is good to us we are good to him more than he is good to us, and whoever attacks us he will find from us no mercy, so what do you think we will do to an invader who tampered with our religion and our country, its destiny, security and unity?”

OK, so freeing you assclowns from a sadistic murderous bastard like Sadam, who was on track to get you all killed, wasn't good enough? But don't worry, you will have a sympathetic ear after 1/20/09!
“5.) To surround our countries security by making agreements with others around us to accomplish your interests and their interests at the expense of the interests of our people will have serious consequences. It is up to you not to try this and not to solve your problems with others at our expense and you should understand this.”
Umm, Jihad Boy, Barry wants to talk to the animals, babes! You two are not going to see eye to eye on this, but so far, 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

“6.) We will be flexible in dealing with your withdrawal but it must not be as part of a security deal with parties that are traitors or a made up government. You must correct your mistakes and work with courage to pay compensation to all those who you have destroyed, their families or their house or their psychology. And you must release all those you have as prisoners until the last Iraqi of them, and you must order the sectarian government to release all its prisoners and to return the balance of security to Iraq. Without this we will not think that you will be coming with the
change that you have promised, and if you do this you will be written down in history as the courageous one.”
Don't worry Barry, we've got your Six! Go ahead, withdraw, give us all our crazies back and we will take care of you. That awful sectarian government needs a few more things to do, Barry, so make sure you release the insane-violent ones first.

“And finally we in the resistance are staying on our promise to liberate our country and we will not tear from this, the history of our grandparents is the best witness and we will be the best next of kin to that kin in protecting the sanctity of our nation.”
You kidders, you saved the best for last! You and Barry agree to get the only thing that's keeping you crazies from ruling the joint out of the way and THEN you get to go on with the insurgency so you can make Grandpa proud. What a great deal!

You know the weird part of this is how much of this letter sounds like the Democrat party campaign message on Iraq.

Orbs

Vlad, Vlad, Vlad...you have the same fascination with anatomy that Jesse has. Perhaps the two of you should get together and discuss your differences. This is how the KGB deals with the enemies of the state...are you taking notes Barry O?

New Blogging Site

I am very pleased and honored to announce that I will now also be blogging over at Fountainhead Zero. This is a group of writers dedicated to upholding the principles of the current minority while we work to educate the populace and return ourselves to the majority. Just posted a little piece over there.

Well now there's a shock!

Headline reads: Gun Owners not Welcome on Obama's White House Team. Ya don't say! This is discerned from question 59 of the Obama Questionnaire that all prospects have to answer: "Do you or any members of your immediate family own a gun? If so provide complete ownership and registration information. Has the registration ever lapsed? Please also describe how and by whom it is used and whether it has been the cause of any personal or property damage."

Catholic Bishops Part II

Looks like some sanity is coming out of the Bishops for a change. Now they are cutting off ALL funding for ACORN. Makes my Roman heart proud!

Roll with the Changes

Nice thoughts from our pal Rich Galen over at Mullings:

  • Now that Official Washington needs to take a breath from All-Obama-All-the-Time it has turned its attention to what will become of the Republican Party; or, more precisely who will be the New Face of the Republican Party?
  • I don't know. Here's a couple of things I do know.
  • Four years ago - a week after George W. Bush defeated John Kerry no one thought that Barack Obama was the New Face of the Democratic Party. If anyone was, it was Hillary Rodham Clinton's mug.
  • How'd that work out?
  • Here is the second thing I know. At noon on January 20, 2009 when President-elect Obama officially loses the hyphenated title, every Republican will understand how every Democrat felt exactly eight years earlier - to the second. That was when George W. Bush was sworn in for his first term joining a House of Representatives led by Speaker Dennis Hastert and a Senate led by Majority Leader Trent Lott.
  • Republicans controlled everything. Democrats - especially overweight Hollywood actors - loudly announced they were leaving the country. It was the era of the PERMANENT REPUBLICAN MAJORITY!
  • How'd that work out?
Rich is still a little more optimistic than me - I worry that a lot of damage can be done to our liberties and values in two years - think Freedom of Choice Act, Fairness Doctrine and Gun Control for starters...

The Law of Unintended Consequences

When will the geniuses who got us into this mess learn that there are always unintended consequences when you set out to "do good." The latest installment of this phenomenon is the Fred/Fan bailout. So, if you are already behind you get help. If, however, you have struggled mightily to not get behind you get butkus. Soooo, you are incented to do what?

One greatly overlooked example of this phenom was during the election when Barry O's home state of Hawaii quickly abandoned the idea of state mandated universal healthcare for children. We learned the lesson several years ago in Tennessee. If you set the government up to provide the best possible health insurance at no cost, guess what? Everyone that can afford health insurance dumps their policy and takes the freebie. People are not "greedy," as Big O would suggest, they are just rational.

FINALLY, someone takes a stand

We tried mightily to raise this issue before the election - pleading with Catholics to stop the Freedom of Choice Act by not electing Obama. At least the Catholic Bishops are taking a step in the right direction. Let's see how long they are allowed to rail against the Big O.

Happy Veteran's Day. Thank you.

Bloggers on the Right - This Could Happen to You...

OK, this was in Burma but given the post-election attacks we on the Right have been receiving, it's not too far of a stretch to say it could happen here. So someone scribes a "cheeky" poem about our dear leader, O...knock on the door..."you racist homophobic pig!"

O-Guys: "You saw what we did to Joe the Plumber...we've been looking into the sites you visit, your last child-support payment, the books you check out from the library, your IRS files...there's a lot to talk about here."

Syria, Nukes? No prob, Big O can talk them out of it...

Just like we thought - the Syrians, probably in conjunction with the North Koreans were working on a nuke. God bless Israel for solving that one quickly...I fear under Barry O's "rule" we will lose our great ally.

Perestroika - Big O Style!

Wow! The guy with the birthmark that looked curiously like Western Europe on his head has spoken...Perestroika for the US of A, baby! Must get that damned Beatles song out of my head..."back in the US, back in the US, back in the USSR!!"

It's Yucky...must say NO!

I'm sure Barry O and the boys will not like this. Small, shed sized nuclear reactors that can provide clean power for up to 20,000 homes. This is the type of emerging technology that the US is in the lead on..or should I say was?

He's Baaack!!

Why if it isn't our old flag standin', Pentagon bombin', Barry pallin' friend Bill Ayers! Popped up on the grid on November 7:

Maybe we could welcome our current situation—torn by another illegal war, as it was in the ’60s—as an opportunity to search for the new.

Perhaps we might think of ourselves not as passive consumers of politics but as fully mobilized political actors. Perhaps we might think of our various efforts now, as we did then, as more than a single campaign, but rather as our movement-in-the-making.

We might find hope in the growth of opposition to war and occupation worldwide. Or we might be inspired by the growing movements for reparations and prison abolition, or the rising immigrant rights movement and the stirrings of working people everywhere, or by gay and lesbian and transgender people courageously pressing for full recognition.

There it is in a nutshell - no pun intended. The Alinsky tactics of organization - trying to turn the divergent wings of the Donk party into a single force:

- "opposition to war and occupation." Mr. Ayers, this nation has only occupied countries for good cause - think Germany, Japan and now Iraq. There is a BIG difference between that type of occupation, which is temporary and what China has done to Tibet.
-"movements for reparations and prison abolition." I have posted about my concerns of a reparations movement coming with O standing by the tiller ("at the helm" doesn't work for him). I had not heard that we need to empty the prisons. Dangit, it's Sunday - I'll have to wait for tomorrow to get more ammo!
-"immigrants rights" Billy, we are a nation of immigrants - we would like to keep the process legal and not be overrun. But then, you obviously hate America and all it stands for so anything that leads to ruin is OK.
-"stirrings of working people everywhere." Comrade Bill! To the barricades!!
-"gay lesbian and transgender..." So only when we violate all our morals and gladly allow gay marriage, transgender and animal marriage will we finally achieve social nirvana?

This is why Barry O and the boys had to keep a wrap on this assklown till after the Election...but now, he's baaack!

You can read the whole article here, if you have the stomach for it. Titling his piece with a line from the Grateful Dead song, Truckin', really steams me too.

Corps

There's something frighteningly Fascist in the creation of all these "corps" that Barry and Joe want. This is from the Barack Obama campaign website:

  • Expand Corporation for National and Community Service: Obama and Biden will expand AmeriCorps from 75,000 slots today to 250,000 and they will focus this expansion on addressing the great challenges facing the nation. They will establish a Classroom Corps to help teachers and students, with a priority placed on underserved schools; a Health Corps to improve public health outreach; a Clean Energy Corps to conduct weatherization and renewable energy projects; a Veterans Corps to assist veterans at hospitals, nursing homes and homeless shelters; and a Homeland Security Corps to help communities plan, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
  • Engage Retiring Americans in Service on a Large Scale: Older Americans have a wide range of skills and knowledge to contribute. Obama and Biden will expand and improve programs that connect individuals over the age of 55 to quality volunteer opportunities. (Barry - why no "corps" here?)
  • Expand the Peace Corps: Obama and Biden will double the Peace Corps to 16,000 by 2011. They will work with the leaders of other countries to build an international network of overseas volunteers so that Americans work side-by-side with volunteers from other countries.
How about the Hitler Youth Corps?

Religion of Peace

An Iranian man adjusts his Barack Obama campaign button.
Hezbollah, CAIR and Hamas are some of the other prominent
Muslim groups excited by the nebulous "message of change."

Doing a little Sunday morning blog surfing and found this site, religion of peace, he's got some great stuff over there. Chilling documentation of Islam's swath of bloodshed. Maybe Barry can go teach the Iranians how to say "yes we can!" - well, they already say that as they merrily work towards becoming a nuclear power.

Mullings

Fellow traveler, Rich Galen, who is always near Republican circles has a great summary column he publishes over at Mullings - this gem from today:

Let me understand this. General Motors is going to go bankrupt next year because it insists on building cars no one wants to buy and, to forestall that, it wants to buy Chrysler which builds cars homeless people don't even want to sleep in.

That about sums up the state of the American auto industry - thank you UAW...but, oh, let's have the Dems give them a bunch of money so they can continue to carry states like Michigan.

Bush held press conference - stocks plunge

Got to find someone else to blame this on - heaven knows that the markets would never price the impending doom into their calculations.

Public School

So this is part of a Finnish documentary on Obama supporters...take a look at what happens inside a public school in Asheville, NC. No wonder the youth vote went for Barack; they've been brainwashed into it with years of this kind of dogpoo.

National Suicide

Great analysis from the author of "Londonistan" - a warning trumpet from across the pond.

Obama - the aftermath

Nothing to fill their pathetically empty lives...

Gay Marriage Ban Passes - Markets Tumble

I am sure the liberal media can blame today's market drop on the passage of Prop 8 in California...nothing to do with Santa Obamista.

Protecting the Vote - Philly Style!

Nice, really nice. "This is the way the world ends - not with a bang, but a whimper."

THE VOTE REAPER

Awesome!

On the Plantation with Chains on your Brain!

This has been on a couple of other blogs - Rachel Lucas had it and the Corner. It's is a phenomenal summary defense of conservatism.

Obama Is Going To Pay For My Gas And Mortgage!!!

More wisdom from the Obamatrons...well, if he does win, he sure will have fun managing expectations! I'm with this gal though - I think I will quit working so all the other schlubs that keep working can support me!

Election Day Thought

I got this from a Facebook Group that is fasting on Election Day and praying that taxpayer funded abortion-on-demand does not become the law of the land:

Quote from Henry Hyde, the late pro-life champion of the US Congress:

"When the time comes as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I've often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God and a terror will rip through your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there will be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, "Spare him because he loved us," and God will look at you and say not, "Did you succeed?" but "Did you try?"'

As election day begins and, with it, the fast we have committed to, I want to thank you for whatever prayer and sacrifice you're able to offer today. God bless you!

The Road to Philadelphia

I have a sneaking suspicion that this whole thing is going to come down to Pennsylvania - no surprise then that the Brown Shirt tactics of the Obathugs are hard at work in Philly.

A History and Economics Lesson

This piece from the Wall Street Journal offers both a history lesson and an economics lesson. These are crucial lessons that need to be applied today, because the wrong thinking that got us into the Great Depression govern the thinking of the Democrat party and, to a large extent, the Republican party. Two key points: 1) the government and the economy are not large corporations that need to be effectively, centrally managed AND 2) you can't tax your way out of a downturn! Final lesson that is not taught in the civics books of our blighted public schools: FDR did not get us out of the Great Depression - World War II did.

The New Blue Shirts?

This goes back to July, and like all things "O," they get said and then forgotten. When not asked by a responsible media - two mutually exclusive terms - they can be buried till after the election. This stuff is truly chilling...who will the Civilian Security Force report to? The Governors or Mayors? The Senators? The Royal Palace Guard? Obama Himself?

Scary stuff!

JOE - Continued

The frightening invasion of the privacy of Joe the Plumber continues to get worse.

Director Helen Jones-Kelley said her agency checks people who are "thrust into the public spotlight," amid suggestions they may have come into money, to see if they owe support or are receiving undeserved public assistance.

Niekamp told The Dispatch she is unfamiliar with the practice of checking on the newly famous. "I've never done that before, I don't know of anybody in my office who does that and I don't remember anyone ever doing that," she said today.

Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland and Jones-Kelley, both supporters of Democrat Barack Obama, have denied political motives in checking on Wurzelbacher.

I have scribed on this subject over at Red State Rumblings, but this story continues to stink more and more.

Like Auntie like Nephew

Guess by now you've all heard about Obama's aunt - the one he praised so much in his book, the one that lives in a slum? Weeeell, small detail - she's an illegal alien to boot. Jesus, Barry, couldn't you at least help her with a frikkin Green Card?

One of the great revealers of character is how we treat those less fortunate than ourselves. Do we treat the grocery bagger with the respect and dignity he is due by saying "thank you" and calling them by their own name - or do we simply ignore them and try to look the other way? But your own family??? WTF??? There's no excuse.

The Rumbling you hear may not be your stomach

I am beginning to feel it, and the numbers are starting to show it...Zogby, for the first time since before the financial mess hit, has McCain in the lead, 48-47. My friend Bill Whittle sums it up so well over at ejecejecteject - a cataclysmic Asteroid heading our way. If Johnny Mac and the Sarahnator pull this upset off, it will be the equivalent of Vanderbilt beating Florida. On any given Tuesday...
