He's Baaack!!

Why if it isn't our old flag standin', Pentagon bombin', Barry pallin' friend Bill Ayers! Popped up on the grid on November 7:

Maybe we could welcome our current situation—torn by another illegal war, as it was in the ’60s—as an opportunity to search for the new.

Perhaps we might think of ourselves not as passive consumers of politics but as fully mobilized political actors. Perhaps we might think of our various efforts now, as we did then, as more than a single campaign, but rather as our movement-in-the-making.

We might find hope in the growth of opposition to war and occupation worldwide. Or we might be inspired by the growing movements for reparations and prison abolition, or the rising immigrant rights movement and the stirrings of working people everywhere, or by gay and lesbian and transgender people courageously pressing for full recognition.

There it is in a nutshell - no pun intended. The Alinsky tactics of organization - trying to turn the divergent wings of the Donk party into a single force:

- "opposition to war and occupation." Mr. Ayers, this nation has only occupied countries for good cause - think Germany, Japan and now Iraq. There is a BIG difference between that type of occupation, which is temporary and what China has done to Tibet.
-"movements for reparations and prison abolition." I have posted about my concerns of a reparations movement coming with O standing by the tiller ("at the helm" doesn't work for him). I had not heard that we need to empty the prisons. Dangit, it's Sunday - I'll have to wait for tomorrow to get more ammo!
-"immigrants rights" Billy, we are a nation of immigrants - we would like to keep the process legal and not be overrun. But then, you obviously hate America and all it stands for so anything that leads to ruin is OK.
-"stirrings of working people everywhere." Comrade Bill! To the barricades!!
-"gay lesbian and transgender..." So only when we violate all our morals and gladly allow gay marriage, transgender and animal marriage will we finally achieve social nirvana?

This is why Barry O and the boys had to keep a wrap on this assklown till after the Election...but now, he's baaack!

You can read the whole article here, if you have the stomach for it. Titling his piece with a line from the Grateful Dead song, Truckin', really steams me too.
