The Hot Sex is Over

According to Charles Krauthammer, the press may be starting to wake up: "

The hot sex is over, they're in the cigarette stage right now. You get a question or two that's slightly obstreperous, but the adulatory coverage is still all wall-to-wall.

Read the rest here. Certainly Dame Helen of Thomas is getting a little miffed at the staged press conferences:

Why does Gibbs smirk through every answer?

The Education Bubble?

With college costs approaching $50K per year, it would not surprise me to see this come true. From the article:
"According to the National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, over the past 25 years, average college tuition and fees have risen by 440 percent — more than four times the rate of inflation and almost twice the rate of medical care."
Now the big question is - is higher education "too big to fail??" Will Obama appoint a Higher Education Czar? Fire the Deans of all the liberal arts colleges and appoint his own minions...oh, calm down! Those people are running 99.9% of those institutions anyway!

Interesting read nevertheless.

Fred Thompson interviews Al Franken

Nice spoof from the Fred Thompson Show...c'mon give yourself a laugh - you're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you!

Oh, but I won't raise your taxes....

The Oracle of Omaha, who supported Obama speaks out on exactly what this "Cap and Trade" legislation is:

I heard a local radio wag this AM talking about some of this and he made a great analogy: this is like offering the American people a choice between a milk shake and an arsenic shake. It is so PAINFULLY obvious to an sentient person that cap and trade and the looming healthcare "reform" are nothing but gigantic taxation programs. But the Obamistas trudge forward...we will need to see the number in the chart below stay negative and start growing before there will be any reconsideration. We are dealing with idealogue statists who in the face of "facts" remain undeterred.

Silenced

An inconvenient truth - global warming is a hoax...better not let the Congress see this stuff before they vote on cap and tax!

This is tyranny folks, plain and simple.
