You Can't Make This Stuff

Sub-Continental Drift

India has laid down a marker with the Gorons in the West by "rejecting key findings on global warming." The theory held by the Enviro-Nazis is that the Himalayan Glaciers are melting all because of humanity. The Indian Environment Minister, Jariam Ramesh disagrees:

Mr Ramesh said the rate of retreat of glaciers in the Himalayas varied from a “couple of centimetres a year to a couple of metres”, but that this was a natural process that had taken place occurred over the centuries. Some were, in fact, growing, he said.

Oh no! A disagreement with what is "irrefutably true?" Well, the global warmings has brought my fair home town the coolest weather since 1877 and the second coldest July on record. Stay tuned - the next full scale panic will be that we are headed for a new ice age.

A Global Warming by any other name...

I've sparred with an Anonymous poster (and a number of other mind-numbed lib-bots) over the global warming hoax...I know we're not supposed to call it that anymore since the science behind it is discredited, but even the New York Times is writing about what it should be called now so that the the ecokooks can keep the momentum up to get cap and trade (tax and ruin) legislation passed. The words for today, Comrades, are "our deteriorating atmosphere." Pass it on!

When In Danger...

There's an old Navy saying, said with tongue planted firmly in cheek, "when in danger or in doubt, run in circles scream and shout." This is certainly a favored tactic of the left, particularly when it comes to their latest power grab - "global warming."

It is the custom of those of us on the conservative side of the aisle to respond to their bombast with calm, measured tones. Here is one of those responses - an excellent summary of the current "global warming" hoax. I know the Gorons will scream that "there is no debate!!!!!" But facts are funny little things...I am old enough to remember these same creeps scaring the hell out of us that we were all going to die in a new ice age. It's all about the power folks:

As noted earlier, the alarmists have learned well from the past. They saw what motivates policy makers is not necessarily just hard science, but a well-orchestrated symphony of effort. Their approach is calculated and deliberate. Remember the quote from one of the most outspoken alarmists, “We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements, and make little mention of the doubts we have.”

They have used that strategy to execute an orchestrated agenda over the last two decades:

• Announce a disaster

• Cherry pick some results

• Back it up with computer modeling

• Proclaim a consensus

• Stifle the opposition

• Take over the process and control the funding

• Roll the policy makers

• 
  

And the policy makers ARE getting rolled. Sad fact is it is the taxpayers that will foot the bill for this ludicrous "cap and trade" legislation that is being foisted on the Gullibullus Publicus Americanus. "Global warming" is just the fulcrum.
