Nailed it!

Writing in this morning's Tennessean, local guy Vijay Kumar nails other local guy, Rev. Kenneth Locke in a column titled "'Secular Islam' is a Contradiction in Terms." The good Reverend wrote a column last week reflecting on a trip he made to Turkey courtesy of a local Islamic outreach group. The gist of his observations was that Islam and Democracy co-exist just fine in lovely old Turkey. Kumar takes the Rev to task:

Turkey is secular in spite of Islam, not because of it. Turkey's powerful military is what keeps it secular.

Exactamundo! And they have a hard time keeping the lid on it, just look at the protests that occurred around the last election two years ago. Kumar continues:

Turkey wants to be secular now because it benefits its people. It wants full membership in the European Union so that it can export surplus Turkish population to Europe and the Americas.

Exactly - they have enough sane people in the country that don't want to go down the Iranian path and take a country that is progressing towards modernity back to the 5th Century so they would be isolated from the rest of Europe. Here's the kicker, and ALL Americans should read this and think hard about our immigration policy:

The hard fact that Locke attempts to waltz around is that Islam cannot assimilate into American society for the very simple reason that the Quran is the antithesis of the U.S. Constitution.

The U.S. Constitution is of the people, by the people and for the people. Americans delegate power to the government to manage their affairs. In stark contrast, the Quran is considered by its adherents to be the literal world of Allah, the Arabic God, and the final arbiter of the law and the affairs of man. Muslims are slaves of Allah, whereas America was founded as a haven and harbor for free and independent people.

The Quran is simply incompatible with the Constitution; therefore, the assimilation of Islam into American society, in the long run, is highly unlikely if not categorically impossible.

Now all you diversificators out there who want to believe that everyone can just get along and that "diversity is our strength," take heed. There are some folks who do not want to be part of your diversity - they want to convert you, subjugate you and if you don't like it...they want you dead. I love how it takes a native of India to appreciate what we have going for us here and to call out the silliness of accommodation.

Well, that's how the name is pronounced...the Uygher people are a Turkic ethnic group with populations in a number of Central Asian countries and a fair number in China - Xinjiang province to be exact. Now let's be clear, I am no fan of what the Chinese have done in their march to create the new Middle Kingdom. The repression in Tibet and the decimation of ethnic cultures is a human tragedy on a massive scale. Ultimately, China will have a hard time holding it all together despite their exportation of Han Chinese to the disparate regions in an attempt to breed out the native populations. Well over the weekend, this happened:

Rock throwing, stick wielding Uyghers took to the streets of the provincial capital and estimates are coming in that some 140 people were killed. Now take a look at this picture:

That fine fellow enjoying a wee swim is a recent occupant of a cell in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He is a Uygher...oh, did I mention that they are Muslims...Muslim terrorists? This gentleman along with several of his compadres were released from Gitmo and dropped off in Bermuda...without the Brits being notified! Now the facts of how these guys came to be residnets at Gitmo are not entirely clear, but they have something to do with being "picked up on the battlefield," where they were "fighting U.S. forces." The all seeing Obama has decided that they are not a threat to U.S. interests - after all, they just want to go kill Chinese.

File this under diplomatic naivete. Is it possible to tick off our numero uno ally, Great Britain, while simultaneously ticking off a country that is bent on world domination and should be treated with some sense of diplomacy? You betcha! Leave it to Obama and his merry gang of pranksters to do just that. Do you think that the symbology of having their peoples released from U.S. custody would have any impact on how Uyghers in deep central Asia with limited communications? Oh, I don't know, maybe they would feel that they have a new friend in the United States so its worth a shot at trying to overthrow the local government. Point of the matter is, diplomacy requires subtlety and depth of experience - something that is sorely lacking in this administration.

So we are a Muslim Nation?

Now in an interview with French Canal Plus, Hussein Obama has doubled down on this bet...not only are we NOT a Christian nation, he now says we are "one of the largest Muslim countries." Now Wikipedia has us ranked 38th by total population and not even on the charts by percentage...other estimates place us even lower. Once again, the British press is doing the job that the slobbering, bowing American cult-worshipers, err, main stream media won't do...actually reporting these outrages. Good On Ya' Mate!

President Bush is going to award the Medal of Freedom to good friend and REALIST, the former Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard. This from Bloomberg:

Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. President George W. Bush will award former Australian Prime Minister John Howard with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his role in fighting terrorism and promoting democracy, the White House said.

Bush will present the award, the U.S. government’s highest civilian honor, to Howard, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said in a press briefing yesterday, according to a transcript.

“All three leaders have been staunch allies of the United States, particularly in combating terrorism,” Perino said.

Howard was defeated by the Labor party’s Kevin Rudd in November elections. Howard was the second-longest serving prime minister in Australian history.

Howard, who Bush called a “personal friend” and a “man of steel,” joined Blair in committing troops to the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Now I notice Tony Blair is in there too, and that is appropriate. I have long held that the future of the civilized world may well depend upon an alliance of the English speaking peoples: US, Australia, Great Britain, India and New Zealand. But I have a special place in my heart for the Aussies - they are great friends of the US and noble competitors...only drinking contest I ever lost in my ill spent youth!

We need to remember this about John Howard, he was the only Western leader to speak out directly about the dangers of Islamic immigrants to a society. This from the AP in 2006:

Prime Minister John Howard says he has no need to apologise for telling Muslims they need to embrace Australian values.

Mr Howard sparked controversy yesterday by saying on talk-back radio a small group of Muslim migrants had refused to accept their adopted country's values and had not learned English.

He told Macquarie Radio Australia had benefited greatly from immigration, but “there is a section, a small section, of the Islamic population ... which is very resistant to integration”.

"What I want to do is to reinforce the need for everybody who comes to this country to fully integrate," Mr Howard said yesterday. "Fully integrating means accepting Australian values, it means learning as rapidly as you can the English language if you don't already speak it.

"And it means understanding that in certain areas, such as the equality of men and women, the societies that some people have left were not as contemporary and as progressive as ours.

"People who come from societies where women are treated in an inferior fashion have got to learn very quickly that that is not the case in Australia."...

The prime minister’s comments sparked fury among some Muslim leaders who say they were offended by what the prime minister had said.

The chairman of the government's new Islamic advisory committee, Dr Ameer Ali, has warned of more trouble unless Mr Howard tones down his rhetoric on Muslim migrants.

"We have already witnessed one incident in Sydney recently in
Cronulla, I don't want these scenes to be repeated because when you antagonise the younger generation, younger group, they are bound to react," Dr Ali told Macquarie Radio.

Don't tell Muslims they must integrate, or they will attack you.

But Mr Howard today stood by his comments.

"I don't apologise," he told reporters."I think they are missing the point and the point is that I don't care and the Australian people don't care where people come from.

"There's a small section of the Islamic population which is unwilling to integrate and I have said generally all migrants ... they have to integrate."...

"And I have said, generally, all migrants ... they have to integrate, and that means speaking English as quickly as possible, it means embracing Australian values and it also means making sure that no matter what the culture of the country from which they come might have been, Australia requires women to be treated fairly and equally and in the same fashion as men.

"And if any migrants that come into this country have a different view, they better get rid of that view very quickly. I don't retreat in any way from that. It doesn't involve singling out a group."

How can a Muslim possibly approve or participate in such a practice that bases itself on the notion Allah has an offspring? The very concept of Christmas contradicts and conflicts with the foundation of Islam. Every Muslim has a responsibility to protect his family from the misguidance of Christmas, because its observance will lead to hellfire. Protect your Paradise from being taken away – protect yourself and your family from Christmas."

Now here's what I don't get - the Koran recognizes Jesus as a "great prophet." Mary is revered in an almost awkward way...she even gets her own chapter, the Sura Maryam. It recognizes the Immaculate Conception and the special nature of Jesus - an infant that could speak.

No, this is about hate and isolation. The more these mullahs can keep their flock away from Christians and Jews in Western countries, the easier it is to convince them that those same Christians and Jews hate them. It is the pathway to jihad. Note to Anjem - if you hate our customs so much, go back to Saudi Arabia or Egypt or whatever dustbin you came from and leave us alone. Thank God this buffoon lives in England and not over here...Brits, wake up!

Religion of Peace

URGENT: A group of fanatical Christians stormed ashore in Bahrain today killing over 100 people. They specifically sought out Muslims from Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Screaming "Christ is the only Way!" they set off bombs and blew themselves apart in bomb-laden taxis...

No that doesn't work...let's try again.

URGENT: A party of faith-enraged Buddhists swept through the downtown area of Islamabad today shooting randomly at late-afternoon commuters. They then set off explosives and captured numerous hostages at the posh Intercontinental Hotel. They singled out Muslims and Hindus screaming "Buddha is the man..."

No that doesn't work...let's try again.

You get the point. The entire world of faith had better wake up to the fact that Muslim extremists offer two choices: convert or die. And on option two, they are perfectly happy to accommodate. It is a sad day in India today. Rumbler has spent time in this beautiful country when Rumbler's parents lived in New Delhi. They are a wonderful people and we weep with them today as they bury their (and our) dead.

There can be no peace until Muslims worldwide condemn these acts of hatred and begin the long, hard work to change their religion from within. We of other faiths can help this process along if we would drop the pretext that they are really a peaceful religion and it's just a few bad apples...blah, blah, blah. Let's call it for what it is, a bloodthirsty cult that is destroying the very fabric of civilization in the hope of achieving a worldwide caliphate. The Koran is specific in what Muslims must do...let's stop kidding ourselves. Until Muslims renounce the violent teachings of their own book, we cannot live alongside them. They need to be isolated and eliminated if they will not change. When will the world say "enough?"

The Russian Islamic Problem

Rumblepal Westhawk has a fine review on his blog of a book written by a Russian soldier titled One Soldier's War. The way his blog is set up, you may have to scroll down to get to it, it's titled "A Russian Soldier fights in Chechnya." He finishes it thusly: "There is much, much more in One Soldier’s War. Mr. Babchenko reminds us that there really is a Long War against Islamism, but that America is a very recent arrival to the party."

We really are a recent arrival...it's no party, but if we don't see it through to conclusion, the guests will be back on our shores and make 9/11 look like a day at Coney Island.
